AUT is the second largest university in New Zealand, was originally founded as a Technical School in 1985 and it was in 2000 that AUT was granted university status and hence got the current name.
AUT offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and more than 29,000 students from 137 countries study at AUT across our three campuses in Auckland’s central(City Campus), North Shore(North Campus) and Manukau(South Campus).
