WITT (Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki) is a government-funded tertiary institute, has campuses in New Plymouth and Hawera.
WITT offers from degrees and diplomas to apprenticeships and short courses, with over 60 programmes. Many of courses involve industry projects and internships, giving student work experience.
Main campus is located in New Plymouth and offer a range services and facilities include a student run cafe, brand new kitchen facilities, library, student support services, health & wellness centre and learning resource centre all designed to help students.
Hawera campus opened in 2015 and students numbers are increasing as the campus becomes and integral part of the South Taranaki region.
